Commemoration Run

The final Hearned It event surpassed all expectations, uniting a diverse range of runners and walkers  to celebrate Coach Hearn's enduring legacy through their shared passion for running.

Led by the Team Hearn Pacers, participants of all fitness levels came together to pay homage to Coach Hearn, embodying his energetic spirit. The event offered routes inspired by Coach Hearn's runs, with participants running at their own pace. As the run concluded, attendees gathered to celebrate Coach Hearn's birthday with custom cakes and cookies, marking the occasion with joy and gratitude.

Gentle Yoga for Grief

In the second installment of the Hearned It Series, the event featured a reflective gentle yoga for grief session led by Series Curator, Radiance Basden.

The 75-minute gentle yoga session, weaved in rest, breathwork, visualization, and affirmations throughout. The event paid tribute to those we have lost and celebrated the resilience of the human heart. Through gentle asanas and mindful meditation, we uncovered the potential for transformation and healing within the depths of our grief, paving the way for new beginnings.

Train Insane or Remain the Same Bootcamp

In a dynamic 75-minute session led by Team Hearn Coaches Mona and Davon, participants were immersed in Coach Hearn's philosophy of "training insane or remaining the same.”

Held in the iconic East Hall of Union Station, amidst the elegance of marble floors, attendees pushed themselves to new limits, fostering resilience and community. Through his signature exercises, Coach Hearn's presence encouraged each participant to persevere and believe in their potential. Following the session, we incorporated foam rolling, a method of self-myofascial release, to relieve muscle tension and improve blood flow.
