Scaling New Heights: Rooted in Radiance's Amplify Program Journey

I am thrilled to announce that Rooted in Radiance has successfully graduated from the Amplify Mastermind Program with the guidance and mentorship of the amazing Dee C Marshall and Theresa R. Proctor. This milestone represents a significant step forward in our journey to be a diverse supplier of well-being resources and scale our business.

Amplify Mastermind Mentorship Program

Amplify is a one-of-a-kind program specifically designed to empower and uplift Women of Color entrepreneurs like us. Throughout this 6-month program, we have been part of a vibrant community of advancing Black Women entrepreneurs, received amazing mentorship from Amplify Mentors, and engaged in bi-weekly mastermind meetings that fostered collaboration and growth.

One of the highlights of the program was the opportunity to access mentors from Fortune 100 corporations. The guidance and wisdom we received from these industry leaders including Ann Ramakumaran (Ampcus) and Jon Suber (Mass Mutual) just to name a couple. They were all invaluable in propelling our business to new heights.

Amplify's commitment to supporting Women of Color business owners goes beyond just virtual meetings. We had the privilege of meeting in person for our “graduation” allowing us to share our learnings, establish meaningful connections and explore new opportunities for expansion with our cohort members.

Belonging to the Amplify community has instilled in us the essence of reciprocity. We found immense joy in contributing to the success of fellow Women Business Enterprises (WBEs) by sharing resources and fostering peer accountability. This spirit of camaraderie and support has become the backbone of the program, making it an experience like no other.

Amplifying Growth with 'The 12-Week Year’

The book 'The 12-Week Year' played a pivotal role in our journey within the Amplify Program, providing essential insights into structuring our business strategies, envisioning our goals, and mastering the art of effective goal setting. The 12-Week Year, authored by Brian P. Moran and Michael Lennington, introduced us to a revolutionary approach that condensed the traditional 12-month business cycle into powerful 12-week segments. This methodology enabled us to focus with laser precision on our objectives, breaking them down into manageable milestones and creating a sense of urgency to achieve them. By implementing the principles from the book, we were able to maintain unwavering clarity in our vision and align our team's efforts towards a shared purpose. The structured approach offered by The 12-Week Year empowered us to make consistent progress, measure our success, and adapt our strategies in real-time, resulting in unprecedented growth and accomplishments throughout our journey in the Amplify Program.

Amplifying Development with the 'Kolbe Assessment’

Moreover, our professional development was enriched by the Kolbe Assessment. The Kolbe Assessment proved to be a game-changer for Rooted in Radiance, providing us with invaluable insights into our individual strengths and working styles. As the CEO of Rooted in Radiance, I was particularly excited to uncover how this unique assessment could revolutionize our team's approach to problem-solving and collaboration. The assessment delved deep into our natural instincts and cognitive abilities, revealing how we each tackle tasks, approach challenges, and communicate with one another. Armed with this newfound knowledge, we were able to capitalize on our team's diverse strengths and create a harmonious workflow that maximized productivity and efficiency.

CEO Radiance is a Kolbe Quickstart

The Kolbe A Assessment played a key role in aligning our team members with tasks that best suited their inherent talents, fostering a sense of empowerment and fulfillment. With this powerful tool at our disposal, we confidently navigated through obstacles and embraced opportunities, forging a path towards unparalleled growth and success.

Also known as a "Quick Start," it is one of the four Action Modes identified in the Kolbe Assessment. It represents an individual's natural instinct and tendency to take quick action, embrace uncertainty, and initiate projects or tasks with a sense of urgency. People with a high Quickstart score are often described as innovative, adaptable, and spontaneous in their problem-solving approach.

A heartfelt moment of gratitude

We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to Dee C Marshall and Theresa R. Proctor. for their unwavering support, dedication, and belief in our potential. Their mentorship has been an inspiring force throughout this journey, and we are truly fortunate to have had them as our guide.

We also extend our gratitude to the entire Amplify team for creating a nurturing and empowering environment that enabled us to thrive. The program's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is evident in every aspect, making it a transformative experience for Women of Color entrepreneurs.
