Soul Salutations is a multi-week outdoor yoga and mindfulness series that promotes community health, encourages healthy lifelong habits, and helps reduce the economic burden of mental health and chronic diseases.
Please read below for more important information to have an amazing experience. You deserve it!

WHAT TO KNOW FOR THE BEST EXPERIENCE
Arrive by 6:00 P.M.
Get the most out of Soul Salutations by arriving on time. This allows you to check in, take photos, and meet new people. It also gives the instructor and your classmates the opportunity to have a non-rushed and seamless experience.
Event Venue and Parking
The flow will be located in Anacostia Park on Field 6 (the field closest to Anacostia Skating Rink.
Street Parking is available in a nearby parking lot and throughout the park. Please plan to walk 5 min from your car to the field where the yoga event takes place.
Commute and Transportation
Metro: The Potomac Avenue Metro Station, located on the orange and blue lines, is the closest to the northern part of Anacostia Park, including the skating pavilion and the Aquatic Resources Education Center. From the station, it's a 1.2-mile walk to reach the skating pavilion.
Car: If you prefer driving, Anacostia Park, Field 6 has parking facilities just 5 minutes to the venue by walking. However, parking outside the area can be challenging, so consider checking for parking availability and rates in advance.
Rideshare Services: You can use rideshare services like Uber or Lyft to get to Anacostia Park, Field 6. Simply enter “1500 Anacostia Drive” as your destination in the app.
Biking and Walking: Anacostia Park is accessible by bike, and there are bike racks available. If you’re nearby, walking to Anacostia Park might also be a feasible option.

WHAT TO BRING
We will be outside and on grass!
Picnic/outdoor blankets are best to flow on grass. You can also flow on a mat, but I suggest still having a blanket.
