Achieving Wellness in Anacostia: Soul Salutations Soul Set I Recap

May 30th launched the Inaugural Soul Salutations Sunset Yoga Series! The first soul set which featured Erykah Badu, Jhene Aiko, Afrobeats and Outkast, delivered a transformative physical, mental, and spiritual experience for attendees. Holistic tips fused with the spirit of enjoyment helped reduce stress and fostered self-connection. The series enhanced flexibility, strength, and balance, and mindfulness. The classes welcome all levels, providing a space for personal growth and well-being.

Another fan favorite were the playlists! Each class featured a blend of soulful artists in the beautiful Anacostia Park. The first set of Soul Salutations proved to be a can’t miss event in DC this summer! Even the DCist gave us a shoutout for “Things To Do Around D.C. This Week”

Mother Nature took over for our Soul Set Finale: Dirty Souf. This class is rescheduled for August 15th!

Continue to make a difference and elevating yourself and others to the importance of taking care of their well-being. For those who haven’t tried it, don’t be afraid to let go of your norm or routine and allow yourself to heal.” -Carlos

“I had an amazing time at the Jhene flow. The setting was perfect and your jokes throughout class and talking to our feet made for a really fun and amazing class.” -Domoneicqua
